Last updated: May 14, 2026.

Welcome to Times Tables Trainer! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of timestablestrainer.com (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Us

Times Tables Trainer is operated by e-Study, a company established in the Netherlands. The Service is provided free of charge.

2. Who Can Use the Service

Anyone can practice the times tables on Times Tables Trainer. There is no minimum age to use the practice quizzes anonymously. We expect children under 13 to use the Service either:

  • Anonymously (no account, progress stored only on their device); or
  • Through a class password that their teacher or parent has set up for them.

Teacher accounts are intended for adults (18+) who are teachers, parents, tutors, or guardians. By creating a teacher account, you confirm you are at least 18 years old.

3. Your Account (Teachers)

If you create a teacher account, you are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information when you sign up;
  • Keeping your password confidential;
  • All activity that happens through your account;
  • Making sure your students have any consents required by your school or by applicable law before you enter their names in a class.

You can delete your account at any time from your teacher dashboard or by emailing us.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for anything illegal;
  • Try to break, hack, overload, or get unauthorized access to the Service;
  • Scrape, copy, or republish the Service or its content in bulk without our permission;
  • Impersonate someone else or set up accounts on someone else's behalf without permission;
  • Upload offensive, hateful, or harmful content;
  • Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code from the Service.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including the quizzes, certificates, illustrations, code, and design, is owned by e-Study and protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. You may use the Service for your own personal or classroom practice, but you may not copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service or its content without our written permission.

If you submit content to the Service (for example, a class name or a student's first name), you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content as needed to run the Service for you.

6. Certificates and Certificates

Bronze, Silver, and Gold Certificates, as well as individual times-table certificates, are issued for fun and motivation. They are not accredited educational qualifications and have no formal value outside the Service.

7. Advertising

Some pages of the Service display advertising to keep the Service free of charge. Advertisements are served by third parties (such as Google AdSense). We do not endorse advertised products or services and we are not responsible for the content of advertisements or the practices of advertisers.

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time without notice. We will try to give advance warning of significant changes, but cannot always guarantee this. We are not liable for any loss that results from changes to or interruptions of the Service.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." While we do our best to keep it working correctly, we do not warrant that the Service will always be available, error-free, secure, or accurate. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, e-Study will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising from or related to your use of the Service. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought before the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country requires otherwise.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we update the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms. If you don't agree with a change, please stop using the Service.
