How to Earn the Gold Certificate
The Gold Certificate is the hardest certificate of all! You answer 40 multiplication problems from the 1 through 10 times tables. You have 6 minutes for that. That's less time than for the Bronze and Silver Certificates, so you have to be both quick and accurate. The better you know the times tables, the faster you'll solve the problems. Take time to practice well before you start, so you begin with confidence. If you don't pass on the first try, that's totally fine. Go back, practice the tables you find tricky, and try again. You can try as many times as you want. When you earn the Gold Certificate, you have reached the highest level! You get a real certificate to save or print. If you can't print at home, your teacher can do it for you — they see all the certificates from the class. Not logged in? Just type your own name on the certificate.
